Master gardener and club member, Janice Moody, will discuss how to install and design a succulent garden here on the coast from the succulent varieties, propagation and care (soil, potting, fertilizing). Janet will bring some plants from her "Seascape Succulents, Garden Design and Landscaping" business. If interested, please bring cash.

This a multi-family sale combining all our members. There is something for everyone! Here are just some details, but the list truly goes on:
- holiday decorations
- household decor: vases, frames, art, etc
- clothing (adult and children)
- accessories like shoes, hats, bags, purses, jewelry
- sporting goods
- office supplies
- garden supplies/ tools
- PLANTS (that's right!, we grow them and you save!)

Meeting Monday evening, July 10, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Coastside Adult Health Care Center (925 Main Street). Please enter back NE door (it will be open until 7:15).

Carolyn Beverstock, "The Camilla Lady" will be our speaker. We are so VERY lucky that Carolyn is coming to HMB to be our speaker! She is a Camilla expert! This presentation should NOT be missed! Bring a friend!

Our presenter will be Maury who will talk about caring for and pruning fruit trees. He might also bring some of his wood carvings.
March tasks in your garden:
General clean-up of leaves and debris. Wait until soils dry a little before pulling weeds.
Finish all pruning of roses, shrubs and trees. Better late than never.
Might wait a few weeks before planting new plants because the soil is just so wet. (roots can't
Feed your roses each month until September/October with your favorite rose fertilizer.
Feed your camellias, azaleas and other acid loving plants monthly with acid fertilizer.
Watch for aphids. Love new, tender growth. Spraying plants (early in the day) with water from
garden hose, a couple times weekly will keep aphids under control.
Fertilize perennials with a general fertilizer.
Prepare beds for annuals.
Remove stalks/seed pods from bulb plants(daffodils, tulips, etc.). Will increase bulb energy for next
Clean out your bird water and seed feeders (replace old seed).
